sludge agitation
Sludge agitators
At ECOAR we have agitators, tanks or tanks for water treatment, we also make any type of structure to hold the agitation bench or tanks.
With the sludge agitation that we carry out, we force a fluid by mechanical means so that it acquires a circulatory movement inside a container. The agitator creates a certain type of flow within the system, causing the liquid to circulate throughout the container and return from time to time to the agitator, in order to carry out a correct water treatment.
Our agitators are made up of a motor with a speed reducer, a shaft and a rotor with blades. With these agitators we manage to have a large flow capacity, a uniform distribution inside the tank and no turbulence.
To avoid vibrations and depending on the height of the tank and its own diameter, the length of the axis where the agitator is installed is calculated. We adapt the rotation speed to the specific requirements.
The standard realization is in stainless steel or with special protection coatings.
With a minimum energy consumption, we achieve a rotation speed that allows operation without the formation of vertices and/or turbulence. By eliminating vibrations and loads, we achieve prolonged operation.
The agitators are divided into two types: Axial Flow (those that generate currents parallel to the axis of the agitator) and Radial Flow (those that give rise to currents in a tangential or radial direction).
The three main types of agitators to eliminate agitation problems are: propeller, paddle and turbine.
The circulation capacity causes the oxygen to disperse throughout the mass and prevents the sedimentation of the sludge at the bottom of the tank.
To prevent sludge sedimentation, you must perform the following functions: Provide oxygen, disperse oxygen in the liquid, and stir to mix the sludge.
