Settleable particle collector

ECOAR manufactures the sedimentary particle collectors to determine the sedimentary particles in immission and to study the atmospheric quality.

ECOAR manufactures the sedimentary particle collectors to determine the sedimentary particles in immission and to study the atmospheric quality. Our ECO-CPS collector complies with the legal regulations in force in Spain, Order of August 10, 1976 (BOE no. 266 of November 5, 1976) on technical standards for the analysis and assessment of atmospheric pollutants of a physical-chemical nature. We supply settleable particle collectors for the entire peninsula, as well as the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands,

It allows taking samples in a simple way to determine the sedimentable particles present in the air, which due to gravity, are deposited inside the collection bottle. Design and characteristics according to the specifications of the technical standards of the Order of August 10, 1976, published in the B.O.E. No. 266 of November 5, 1976.

The settleable particle collectors are made up of a tripod-type structure for support with a protective grid, a collection tank and a 12-litre jerry can, jug-type, to collect the sample and another additional spare 12-litre drum.

Settleable particles do not remain in the atmosphere for long and are normally deposited near the emission sources due to their weight, but it is true that sometimes the wind and currents take them away from the emitters. PS pose less of a health risk than the smaller PM2.5 and PM10 particles, but even larger than 2.5 and 10, they also have negative environmental and health effects.
